Real Wedding: Classic Love at a Private Venue

We’ve recently had a slew of destination weddings!  From finding us online, on instagram or being referred by another vendors, we’ve been getting more and more bookings from out of town brides.  Today, we are excited to share the intimate and gorgeous wedding of a lovely couple from Texas.  Trish and Gregg found a gorgeous home in Paradise Valley to host their big day.  As soon as we saw this space our wheels started turning!

The bride and groom chose to do a first look, something we always recommend, and were able to get a variety of really beautiful bridal portraits before any of their guests arrived.  They even had time for all the bridal party, made up of the brides two daughters, and family photos.

The ceremony space was flanked by huge oleander bushes.  With a little added bistro lighting and some beautiful floral arrangements, the hupa looked just dreamy.  As the sun set, the ceremony seemed to almost glow.

The couple included the brides daughters in the sand ceremony, to symbolize the blending of the the two families, each with their own color of sand.  

For the reception, more bistro lights were added over rounds decorated with white washed lanterns, floral and silver trimmed chargers.  Handwritten place cards marked each seat and guests were given a mango habanero alcohol infusion kit as a favor.

  As an homage to the groom’s alma mater, the bride surprised him with a little Sparky the Sun Devil peeking out of the cake.   The dance floor was accented by draped cocktail tables, party lighting and a custom gobo.    We just loved working with this couple to create a beautiful and intimate wedding day.  Absolutely every detail was perfect from the ceremony fans to the wishing stone, to incredible food and gorgeous floral combinations.  The YJ team wishes Trish and Gregg nothing but happiness!
