In this episode, we invited Molly Agnes to our studio to talk all things videography, farm life, and favorite TV shows. Molly runs the amazing videography company with her husband, Love Story Films! She is truly an editing genius and is such a sweet individual and we can’t wait for you all to meet her. Introducing Molly Agnes!
THE BUSINESS
Molly started her career in news reporting after graduating ASU with a degree in broadcasting. After working for FOX 10 she realized she wanted to spend more of her time sharing positive stories instead of focusing on the negative. While planning her wedding she knew she loved telling stories and filming. She says,
“with all the faith in the world, we started our business.”
She did not have a videographer at her wedding. She would do anything to have a way to see the ceremony as her dad walking her down the aisle. So many people like Molly regret not having a videographer, it is an amazing way to watch your entire day as if it never ended. She loves giving couples the opportunity to have what she missed and takes around 20 hours editing all of the footage to create a perfect recap of the day. The highlight video really showcases the beauty of your marriage from an outside perspective
Luke, her husband, is very hands-off in the business while Molly manages the admin and client interaction aspect of the business. Molly is more outgoing and loves to talk to people while he likes to listen. Molly likes that she is able to pick up on people’s personalities and use it to capture certain moments during the filming process as well as edits and matching music. Luke spends time flying the drones, which makes them a perfect pair not only in their lives but in their business.
MOLLY AND LUKE
Molly and Luke have been together since high school in Payson, Arizona. They met their freshman year of high school and have been together ever since. They now live on a couple acres in Gilbert where they have created a family farm. They own mini horses, mini pigs, and other animals that she treats as children. Molly wakes up at 6AM and starts feeding and watering her animals. Sometimes they even rent the farm out for photoshoots. When asked about growing food, she let us know that they also make their own wine and hops to give as gifts to family, friends, and clients. Molly and Luke make time to have fun together, like the taking photos as dinosaurs.
Molly has so much going on between her business, farm, and her kids, but she still manages to stay so positive and kind. She credits her hometown for this characteristic. She loved growing up where you open doors and give compliments to strangers so she always incorporates kindness in her everyday life.
“I try to find the positive in everything”
She knows what you put in is what you’ll get back, you need to find the positive in every conversation. Well said Molly, well said. We hope that we can practice genuine kindness and master it like she has!
