If you’re planning a whimsical, romantic wedding, this blog post is for you! Deanna and Rayner tied the knot at The Sanctuary in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The aesthetic of their design was really important to them and a big reason why they chose to get married at The Sanctuary. The lush, surrounding desert landscape is already beautiful enough, so they wanted to accent it with greenery and white florals.

Their wedding planner Shelby remembers, “Deanna and Rayner where such a pleasure to work with! I jumped into their planning after their original postponed wedding date, so I wanted to be sure that this new date still felt just as magical as the original one would have been. Getting to know them over the following months really showed me how close they were with their families and how they wanted to continue that into their own family. Their carefree and easy going sprits made it such a joy to help plan and execute their wedding. Their photos are still ones I constantly look at and use for inspiration!”

One special moment of the day was when Deanna shared a first look with her dad. He loved seeing her as a bride in her gorgeous wedding dress! During this time, Deanna gifted her dad a baseball with a sweet quote on it.

Deanna’s mother passed away before the wedding, so they saved her a chair and placed a bouquet on it to honor her during the ceremony and reception. It was tied with her favorite color ribbon. During the ceremony a hummingbird flew around Deanna’s bouquet and the surrounding flowers which is said to be a loved one visiting you. After the ceremony her dad picked up the bouquet and walked it back down the aisle.

Rayner’s sister was his Best Woman and walked with him down the aisle! Fun Fact: One of our Co-Owners, Ashley, was their officiant! She spent some time getting to know them the months leading up to their wedding day and spoke about their love story to all of their family and friends.
