Today we’re bringing you all the details of Tamara & Andreas’ wedding at Desert Highlands Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. This sweet couple chose this venue because it was in the same community that Tamara’s parents lived in. Their Fall based design, combined with the desert landscape of Scottsdale, created a gorgeous vibe which was perfectly suited for their intimate wedding!
Tamara and Andreas met back in 2018 on his birthday. The moment they started talking sparks were flying, and they immediately started dating. A few years later on Christmas Eve, Andreas surprised Tamara and her two children by proposing. As a child, stocking stuffers were Tamara’s favorite so he filled her stocking up with lots of thoughtful gifts and at the very bottom was a ring box!
When it came time for wedding planning, Tamara wanted a venue that had lots of natural greenery already. She played off of the greenery and desert landscape by bringing in warm colors such as ivory and blush with rust and gold accents. Their wedding planner Kelcie reminisces, “Tamara was a dream to work with and was so sweet! The planning process was a breeze. We had a great vendor team who all came together on her wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly.”
Tamara and Andreas wanted a very intimate and romantic day filled with their closest loved ones. Tamara and Andreas included Tamara’s son and daughter during the ceremony and reception. The family did a hand tying ritual during the ceremony along with special dances during the evening. Her son even said some sweet words to Andreas that made everyone laugh and tear up.
During the night, Tamara surprised everyone with a flash mob with some of her best friends! Everyone had such a fun time dancing the night away all together. We wish you the best, Tamara & Andreas!
