A guy and a girl walk into a bar…sounds like a beginning to a joke right? It’s actually the beginning to a very fun love story for Anna and Matt. After meeting on a night out during college, Anna and Matt instantly clicked. They both went to UNC Chapel Hill and after graduation Anna became a night labor and delivery nurse and Matt plays professional baseball. Even though their schedules were very busy, they made sure they made the most of all the moments they had together.

One day Matt took Anna to the Dallas Zoo. She thought they were there for a baseball team event, but he had other plans in mind. He took her out onto the elephant yard and proposed. Elephants are a symbol of good luck and held a special meaning for Matt so this was the perfect setting to ask the woman of his dreams to marry him!

After moving to Arizona for Matt’s baseball career, they decided that The Four Seasons was the perfect location to tie the knot. They wanted to make sure their wedding had an intimate feel, since most of their guests were coming in from out of town.

Anna loved lush, green garlands with dusty rose, mauve, and pops of burgundy flowers. They wanted an outdoor garden wedding with bistro lighting. They kept their guest count intimate, with only close friends and family. This made the whole day very special. Ashley says, “I’m a sucker for a dinner under the stars and some bistro lights. I loved the way these long tables looked and completely transformed the ceremony space into a magical place to share a meal.”

Their wedding planner Ashley remineses, “Anna and Matt had a classically romantic wedding that matched them as a couple! One of my favorite design elements was the custom neon sign we did for their photo booth using the couples last name, “Love you Moore”.
