Brandon and Madeline’s love story began in St. Louis in 2012, when fate brought them together at Forest Perk Café, Brandon serving in the Air Force and Madeline in nursing school. What started as a chance meeting quickly grew into a decade-long journey filled with travel, shared adventures, and a deep-rooted love for the mountains that continues to shape their life together.

From the very beginning of the planning process, their vision was centered around presence over performance. More than anything, they wanted to feel like guests at their own wedding, fully immersed in the experience, surrounded by the people they love, and free to simply enjoy the moment. The result was an intimate and welcoming celebration that felt intentional, relaxed, and effortlessly joyful.

Inspired by their travels and life on the road in their van, the design reflected the quiet beauty and whimsy of Ouray, Colorado. Soft dusty blues, lush greenery, and natural accents came together to create an atmosphere that felt like a peaceful escape into the mountains, transporting guests into one of the couple’s most cherished places.

With just 40 of their closest friends and family in attendance, the day felt deeply personal and meaningful. One of the most memorable details was the handwritten notes placed at each setting, a thoughtful touch that perfectly reflected Brandon and Madeline’s warmth and care for their guests. In the end, it was a celebration defined not just by its beauty but by the feeling of connection, presence, and love shared by everyone there.
