Que-Sooooo we had a party! Hey everyone it’s Taylor!
Your Jubilee is all about celebrations and what better way to wrap up wedding season than with a party! With the Spring semester coming to an end for us interns we were given the opportunity to put all of our hard work to use helping celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Your Jubilee. With the freedom to plan this party Hayley and I decided to go with a southern feel, embracing our desert, cactus, and yummy choice of Mexican food that Arizona has to offer!
Lucky for us we have Meagan Haneke-Hopps on our team as another one of the Jubilette interns who helped us design and execute our invitations for all of our guests. Along with invitations Meagan helped design all of the signage around the party, she brought our vision to life with her beautiful work all around!
To add a little special touch Dang! Fine Rentals came through and provided a desert feel with their wooden Equipale Love Seat, Talula rug, and of course the adorable cactus side tables. What could have been more fitting for this prickly party?? Along with Dang! Fine Rentals we had the help of Event Rents to provide high tops, gun metal stools, and the rose gold chairs (which we easily became obsessed with).
Of course throughout the room we filled the tables and countertops with beautiful flowers, cacti and succulents from The Wildflower AZ. If you are anything like me and are in love with flowers then these will take your breathe away. Wildflower AZ helped us bring in the fun pops of color we were looking for, while still bringing in our spiky friends as the center of the party.
What kind of party would it be without food?? Throughout the party catering was provided by Tacos El Bueno, and no one could say “no” to mexican food. With their cart set up we dined on Chicken and Carne Asada tacos, quesadillas, chips and salsa, rice, beans, and all the fixings to create our own plate. From the main course straight to dessert we had to have some goodies from Ruze Cake House. With their oh so popular cactus cookies we had to make sure these guys made an appearance at the party, paired with macarons and succulent cupcakes, you could say these sweet treats didn’t succ (wink-wink).
With all of the food to fill up our bellies we of course had to have something to wash it down with. Couple of Bartenders had drinks flowing throughout the whole party, but then made a special presentation with our signature drinks! With the option of Habenero Lime, Prickly Pear, and a Classic Mule we had a mini mixology class learning how to create our own yummy drinks.
As the party died down and guests began to leave, we couldn’t let them go without a thank you. Copper painted pots filled with Succulents were lined as guests left, thanking everyone not only for attending to help celebrate these last 3 years for Your Jubilee, but to thank them for the role they played helping Your Jubilee become the success that it is.
And of course, last, but not least, the beautiful Ryann Lindsey Photography helped us document this day for Your Jubilee. Not only is she an amazing photographer, but really knows how to make anyone she works with feel celebrated and cherished.
In order to make this celebration truly amazing we want to say thank you to all of the vendors above for helping contribute and achieve such a fun party!
Cheers to another full year for Ashley, Meagan, and Your Jubilee!
Much Love,
Tay
