“Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in to its embracing warmth.” Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director- Pantone Color Institute
Marsala may be seen as a very heavy color that can only be used in the fall, but there are so many great pallets that can be mixed with Marsala for any time of year. This can be used as your main color or paired beautifully as an accent color. Below are a few ways to pair Marsala into your wedding or event.
Lets start with our fall color palettes since this color is seen mostly in fall events. First color palette is mixed with dusty shades of gray, silver, and blush. This palette has a more romantic and classic feel to it.
The second fall palette brings in various shades of Marsala, going a little darker and brighter in the wine and purple color families brings in a beautiful jewel tone look.
For the more daring bride, bring in contrasting colors such as a blush pink and a reddish pink to bring an oomph of color.
If you are planning a summer wedding or event bring in summer pastel and brights with this color pallet. The ice blue, dusty purple, and pops of Marsala is a stunning color combo.
It is obvious that Pantone knows what they are doing, Marsala can be paired and shown in a huge array of colors pallets and fit in perfectly to your wedding or event. This rich wine color will look gorgeous mixed with golds, silver, and pewter metals.
