Kristine and Jordan
The Phoenician
March 26th, 2022
Kristine and Jordan chose The Phoenician to host their wedding, as about half of their guest list was traveling in from out of town. They wanted a space that felt close to great restaurants, had an amazing Mountain View, and plenty to do on the property. Kristine wanted a space that blended nicely with the white classic wedding she was hosting for 150 of her closest friends and family.
K+J got married on the backside of Camelback Mountain, so they wanted to be sure not to lose the dramatic Mountain View the property boasted while still including gorgeous white florals. We worked with Carte Blanche Florals and Divinity to help make an acrylic arch and white platform stage that helped frame the space and didn’t block any of the view.
The bride really wanted to look back at her wedding day and see it as a timeless classic beauty. The couple also love The Bachelor and watched it together, along with its spin-off shows, weekly. They wanted to have nods to their favorite reality TV show throughout their wedding weekend. We had a lot of fun with this during their welcome party the night before with a “Will you Accept this Rose” welcome drink and a “Fantasy Sweets” dessert bar. On the wedding day, we made a nod to the roses again with the seating chart design made with Details Duo.
We loved working with Carte Blanche on the design and florals. With an all white wedding, you want to make sure it does not feel bland, and they brought so much texture and dimension to the florals, it was absolutely gorgeous. “My favorite floral moments of the design was the cake table and the cake looking like it grew from within the floral, the insane floral installation over the dance floor, which took two days to install, and the custom-made candle wall adorned with flowers behind their head table.” Said planner Meagan!
Our Bride changed dresses and surprised the groom on the gorgeous white dance floor underneath the elevated head table and amazing floral wreath hanging above them!
