Styled Shoot Turned Proposal

Every season our interns create a styled shoot to give them hands on experience in planning an event. However, last year’s turned out a little bit different. Taylor has been working for our company, Your Jubilee Weddings & Events, for over 3 years. She thrives on organizing, planning, and bringing creativity to the business side of things. In the midst of our busy planning schedule her boyfriend, Josh, called us with his idea of proposing. As planners, we were so excited and couldn’t imagine a better way for Taylor to get engaged. On May 7, 2019, the styled shoot went as planned. Our whole team got their hair and makeup done in the morning, we set up a beautiful ceremony and reception space at The Clayton on the Park, and did an interview portion for our promo video. Once everyone was finished with their speaking parts for the video, we made up an excuse for Taylor to get hers reshot. Little did she know, Josh and both of their families had arrived and her whole life was about to change. While she was redoing her interview for the video, Josh walked down the stairs and snuck up behind her. She was completely shocked when she saw him and burst into tears. He got down on a knee and told her all the things he loves about her. After she said yes, their families came out from where they were hiding and surprised her! It was such a special moment for everyone.

We can’t wait for their wedding day in 2020!
