Today we are excited to reminisce about the wedding of Sara & James. Their love story begins all the way back in middle school. When they met they became fast friends and always kept in touch even after they went their separate ways for high school and college. James moved back home after college and they officially started dating!

In January 2020, James planned a trip for the two of them to go to Napa. Little did Sara know, this is when he would pop the question! One day during their vacation, he surprised Sara and took her to her favorite winey where he got down on a knee and proposed!

Being part of the San Francisco Giants family, Sarah & James would spend spring training season in Arizona, so they knew that was the perfect destination for their wedding.

When Sara & James first came to us, they had a vision they wanted for their wedding day, and their wedding planner, Ashley, made sure every detail was perfect and exactly what they wanted.

They were looking for classic design elements but also not a carbon copy of every wedding on Pinterest. We focused on romantic lighting elements and impactful visuals that would contribute to the overall feel of the space.

Pops of mauve, eggplant, and lavender can be seen throughout their entire design. Baby’s Breath was even dyed purple to create a lush floral compliment to their escort display and candelabra wall. From the custom artwork made for the invitation to the custom bar fronts and twinkle light floral canopy, every detail was thoughtfully considered to enhance the ambiance of the space.

Their wedding planner, Ashley, said, “Sara and James were such a joy to work with. They were great about determining what elements held the most value for them and that’s where we utilized more of their budget. They gave their guests an experience from beginning to end incorporating live music, a mariachi band, beer burro, custom cigar roller, and a great playlist that encouraged guests to dance the night away!”

They ended the night with a cold sparks send off and climbed into a vintage white mustang as husband & wife.
