Today’s YJ wedding is about high school sweethearts, Samantha & Ryder. After meeting in high school and dating for eight years, Ryder popped the question on the patio at Different Pointe of View in Phoenix.

The Paseo was the top venue of choice for Samantha & Ryder. Their wedding planner, Kayle, helped tie Ryder’s rustic tastes with Samantha’s modern glam vision into every aspect of their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

Pre-ceremony photos were taken with Samantha’s six bridesmaids and Ryder’s six groomsmen with the stunning Superstition Mountains and Saguaro cacti as their backdrop. During cocktail hour, they took more photos in the desert, but this time with a beer burro!

Samantha & Ryder’s signature drinks paid tribute to their family with the cocktail names, “The Jonesy” and “The Shacky.” Custom black koozies donned with their last name “The Jones” in white completed the glam bar look for cocktail hour.

The glam vision carried on into the reception space with black and white elegant floral details with antique brushed gold fixtures. The dessert table was fit with a simple four-tiered white cake, brownies, cake pops, and macadamia nut cookies with simple poppy florals placed throughout. Artificial greenery and string lights hanging down from the ceiling was the perfect backdrop for the couples’ romantic sweetheart table.

The bride and groom changed into matching Nike sneakers and broke out their moves on the custom checkered black and white dance floor. Guests were able to submit questions for the newlywed couple to answer during the classic shoe game. Instead of holding up their Nike kicks for the game, Samantha & Ryder continued their sophisticated style through custom “R” & “S” name cards.

The night ended with an incredible confetti send off for Mr. & Mrs. Ryder Jones!
