Jordan and Evan had a very clear theme in mind for their wedding day from the first call with the Your Jubilee Team. The goal was to create a stunning wedding with two very specific aspects, they wanted ties from both Game of Thrones and Jurassic Park, two of their favorite movies and TV shows.

Their planner Shelby jumped at the opportunity saying “It’s not every day you find an outside-the-box theme to bring into a wedding day and a couple that fully trusts you to really run with the vision.” She was excited to play around with ideas on how to bring the vision to life.

Jordan and Evan got married at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn. Their reception space is a unique old western-themed town area which turned out to be the perfect landscape for the color palette and feel of their day.

When it came to design their planner Shelby wanted to play with textures and colors to help pull in the fossil and rustic theme. They landed on a few different options for guest tables playing with a balance of luxury and masculine touches. Each guest table had gold and champagne-infused linens with rustic changers to tie the whole look together.

“We wanted to do something big and grand, leaning into the Game of Thrones theme. We landed on doing a large head table to look like a king’s throne. We decided to rent farm tables to add to the rustic feel and pair it with these black rawhide runners, black and grey goblets, and bronze and gold accents.” Their planner Shelby notes about their head table.

It’s all in the details! Jordan, Evan, and their planner worked with Heidi from Idieh Designs to help turn Evan’s small sketch into a perfect custom emblem to be used through the design just like a family crest often seen in Game of Thrones. This emblem was used not only on the formal invites but brought in throughout the wedding day on their custom seating chart, wax seals on the menus, and even on drink stirrers for guests during cocktail hour.

We can’t forget about the Jurassic Park details. How cool are these custom gold dinosaurs placed at each place setting?
