Today’s real wedding is about Haleigh & Jack! Their love story started back in 2017 when they met for the first time. Two years later in 2019, Jack popped the question right around her birthday. Haleigh remembers, “He made me take him to get a manicure and pedicure. Then we had a surprise dinner at my parents house! He handed me a note he had written that told me to close my eyes. He led me outside to the pool and I saw all my closest friends there!”
Haleigh and Jack chose to hold their wedding at a stunning private residence in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The home belongs to one of Jack’s family friends who built it to host large gatherings with their loved ones. When they got engaged, they knew this space could be transformed into their dream wedding. The lush gardens, grand lawn, and creative indoor spaces made this the perfect spot for them to tie the knot.
One space in particular they wanted to completely revamp was the home’s indoor basketball court. Their wedding planner, Amanda, pulled out all the stops and completely transformed the space into an elegant reception space. You couldn’t even tell it was a basketball court! From the white, fringe chandelier, to the greenery hedge wall with a custom neon sign, to the guest tables draped in white linens and florals, Amanda showed them that anything is possible with any space.
When Haleigh & Jack envisioned their wedding day, they wanted lots of neutrals to compliment the natural greenery and landscape of the private residence. Poppie’s Florals made their floral dreams come true by incorporating lots of white, champagne, blush, and greenery into their day. Haleigh’s favorite flower is a peony so they made sure she had lots of those throughout her design!
On their wedding day, the girls started the day in matching, silk robes at Mountain Shadows. After they finished getting their hair and makeup done, Haleigh popped a bottle of Veuve to celebrate becoming a Mrs.! After a glass of champagne, her bridesmaids changed into chic, black dresses. Once they were done changing, Haleigh stepped into her gorgeous wedding dress! It was covered in very intricate details and beading. When she was ready, her bridesmaids lined up ready to lay eyes on her for the first time in her dress! They were in awe of how gorgeous she looked as a bride!
Across the street, Jack and his groomsmen were getting ready at the private residence. Before they got completely suited up, Jack took a moment to read a card his soon-to-be wife wrote him. She also gave him a sweet gift which he opened the morning of their wedding. It was a customized David Yurman chain and pendant.
They opted out of a first look because Jack wanted the first moment he saw his bride to be after he pulled back her veil when she walked down the aisle.
Their wedding planner, Amanda says, “I clicked with Haleigh & Jack during our first consultation! Their welcoming personalities and their fun and effortless relationship could make anyone feel welcome. They wanted this welcoming sentiment to be felt during their wedding, so that guests would feel at home in an elegant atmosphere. They created this through the small details including an out of the ordinary toast of their favorite homemade limoncello instead of champagne, and having the entire wedding party sit at one long table.”
