Real Wedding: Downtown Vintage at The MonOrchid

Looking through the pictures from this magical wedding brings us so much happiness; we seriously can not stop smiling from these images!  Jessica and Brett were such an amazing couple to work with and we feel so honored to be a part of their best day ever.

This couple’s love story began years ago, back in high school, where they met and became friends.  Then life happened, drew them away and just like the Disney fairytales they love so much, fate brought them back together. With a mutual love of all things Disney, it only seemed fitting that Brett proposed in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland on Valentine’s Day.

When Jessica and Brett came to us, they knew they wanted a venue in Downtown Phoenix that was urban, but gave them the ability to bring together the brides mothers love of vintage items and the couples sweet nods to Disney movies.  After checking out a few properties,  the couple fell in love with the blank slate The MonOrchid offered, while still featuring the artsy DoPho vibe.

The day of the wedding, was filled with so many special touches.  From the grape soda bottle cap in the grooms boutonniere (a reminder of the couple’s favorite movie, UP) to the blue heart made from a piece of the brides fathers shirt and sewn into her dress.  She even wore a pair of Tom’s embroidered with “Just Married”.  The wedding was uniquely their own.

During the ceremony, Brett vowed to continue to surprise Jessica, but succeeded in surprising everyone when he was handed a guitar and sang a song he wrote for the day.  To say it was a special night is an understatement.
