Out of this World: A Galaxy Themed Styled Shoot

Three cheers for styled shoots! Hi everyone, it’s Becca! Last week intern Meagan and I finished up our Galaxy styled shoot at Warehouse 215 with some of the best vendors in the biz! A lot of time, energy, and trips to Michael’s went into this shoot, but we could not be more proud or excited to share these photos with you!

Now I know what you’re thinking, “Why a galaxy shoot?” Well, since this styled shoot is apart of our last project as interns with Your Jubilee, we met up months ago to brainstorm some themes for the shoot and narrowed it down to our top three picks. We then made the first of many trips to Michael’s and whipped up some, if I do say so myself, stellar mood boards! We presented our boards to head Jubilettes Meagan and Ashley and we were so excited when they choose the galaxy theme since it was secretly our favorite! I especially love the theme since it is so different compared to most shoots I’ve seen lately and it was so fun to play around with the moody vibe!

From there we started reaching out to our amazing team of vendors and boy were we #blessed! We could not have had a better team to help us create our vision!

Makeup & Hair

We straight up had THE BEST glam squad! The girls of The Glamour Effect are some seriously fun ladies who made our models look flawless!

Dress, Veil and Jewels

That dress. I DIE! Megan from Lillian Lottie helped us pick out the most gorgeous gown and also went above and beyond by hand making a custom star veil! The detailing on the back is my personal fav!

The Suit

Celebrity Tux and Tails hooked it up with the perfect suit for our model Aaron!

Cake & Sweets

Evergreen Bake Co blew us away with this cake! I mean, seriously? She is magic and so are her creations!

Florals

The Local Stem created a gorgeous bouquet and the perfect centerpieces to tie in our color scheme!

Signage & Invitation Suite

Our very own Meagan, @dailymusingsbymeg on IG, creating the invitation suite, signage and table numbers for the shoot! Planets as table numbers? YES PLEASE!

Rentals

We had blast going to the Event Rents Warehouse and playing with their amazing rentals! I love how our place setting’s turned out with the crush velvet linens!

Fancy Lou also provided the most gorgeous mixture of drinkware!

Photographer

Rebecca Johnson of Nhiya Kaye shot all of these perfect pics!

Videographer

Cass and Co knocked it out of the park with this insane video! Check out this magic!

Overall, we love how the shoot turned out and hope you do too! Thanks again to our amazing vendor team!
