Introducing…The Fall 2021 Interns!
Every season we bring on interns and give them an opportunity to see what wedding planning is all about! Our internship includes weekly office hours, fantastic workshops with other wedding professionals, working at real weddings, styled shoots, and a project to add to any event portfolio. We are happy to say that many of our interns who have gone through our program have continued to work for the Phoenix wedding industry and some interns have even advanced into other roles in our company like office administrators, marketing gurus, and associate planners that make up our amazing Jubilette Team!
Bekah: Bekah is a senior at Grand Canyon University and is graduating in December with a degree in Hospitality Management. During her time at GCU, she became certified by the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners. The course taught her a lot about the industry and now she is ready to jump in! She is most excited for the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the wedding industry. A fun fact about Bekah is that she lived in Israel for four and a half years!
Sam: Sam is an Arizona native. She is the youngest of three siblings and they were all adopted from South Korea as infants. She started her college education at the University of Arizona, but her passions led her back to Phoenix. She transferred to Arizona State University to finish her degree in Business Communications. Samantha has worked in the hospitality industry for six years while going to school. She discovered how much she enjoys event planning and hosting. She has worked private events at resorts and restaurants and loves the personal connections she has made. Samantha is excited to work with Your Jubilee clients to make their special day that much more memorable as well. She also can’t wait to learn and grow from a strong team of women who already have so much knowledge.
Steph: Steph just moved to Phoenix over the summer and is excited to explore all that Arizona has to offer! She was born and raised in the Chicago-area, and lived in Kansas City, Missouri for the past three years. She got married last October and her real full-time job is being a cat mom to her two tuxedo boys, Bruce & Truman (yes, she’s one of those cat people). Steph loves reality TV (Bravo all day every day) and trying new restaurants and cocktail lounges! She has always wanted to work in the wedding planning industry and is so excited for this opportunity to work with like-minded people, see some beautiful venues, and help couples keep their big day personal and full of love!
Leilani: Leilani is from Scottsdale, Arizona. She is currently attending Arizona State University and is a sophomore! She is most excited to just get started and take everything in! A fun fact about her is that she was born in Hawaii. Leilani cannot wait to meet everyone and get every party started!!
