Good Vibes Only: Our new office and grand opening
May was a big month for Your Jubilee, not only did we grow our staff to include two Associate Planners (you can meet them HERE!) but we also opened our headquarters in Old Town Scottsdale. Not only does our office have plenty of room for our growing supply of decor, but it has a super girly work space and a cozy room to meet with couples and vendors. Because we are very hands on (or crazy) we did the majority of the renovation on our own. We became very familiar with the layout of our local Home Depot and Lowes. We scraped off popcorn ceilings, ripped out carpet and tile, painted, wallpapered and installed flooring all by ourselves. It was not the smartest project to undertake during the heart of wedding season, but we were so eager to get our office move in ready, we just couldn’t wait. Luckily we have some amazing friends, family and staff that put in a little elbow grease with us!
We wanted our front room to be eclectic. It needed to feel cozy to both Men and Women, so we brought in a lot of natural elements, gilded animal busts, an abundance of gold, fun patterns and geometric shapes. Prim Unique Rentals let us use their gorgeous Elise Couch, Phoebe table, and Ivy side tables to finish the space.
Our office is all girl. The polka dot wall inspired the glass globe lighting. While the majority of the furniture is from Ikea, we added gold spray paint to the table legs, drawers and knobs to keep things consistent.
Once all the hard work was done, we knew we just had to have an open house to showcase the place to all the vendors we work with. We were so lucky to have some of our friends help us out. Juliet Le Fleur provide beautiful florals with geometric accents. Culinary Canvas Catering provided our favorite giant cheese balls. Bear and the Honey showed off their delicious lemon bars (with edible glitter). Couple of Bartenders poured wine and bubbly for all our guests. Morgan Mclane Photography captured all the details.
