Happy Black Friday!

As some of you may be out on this Black Friday braving the shopping malls and jammed packed parking lots to get the best deal, we wanted to share a very special Flash Back Friday and showcase a wedding dear to our hearts. On February 17, 2013 at Sassi in north Scottsdale, I married my very handsome husband Ryan and became a Mrs.

Like most brides, going into it I did not think I needed a planner! With my experience in the corporate world and the friends and family I had in the industry to help I thought I could do it on my own. Well, I will be the first to admit I was horribly wrong! My poor friends and family blessed us so much with their time on our wedding weekend. Sure, they enjoyed themselves but were completely exhausted by the end of the day and never really had a chance to relax and enjoy the moment. Ask my twin sister, she will tell you she spent most of the cocktail hour looking for my lipgloss!

With that being said, and my only regret from my wedding day, we had the most gorgeous day in February that year! The weekend before and after there was rain and hail throughout the valley and our wedding day was a gorgeous 75 degree, sun-shining day!

When I was planning my wedding Pinterest was just beginning to become big and we were at the height of the mason jar, lace, burlap, and candy bar frenzy So, of course, I had it all, but, in my opinion, done in a much classier way. : )
