Welcome to episode 67 of The Celebrated Life! Today we are talking with Mike Spangenberg, one of the founders of State Forty Eight. Mike, along with his friends Stephen and Nicholas, founded State Forty Eight in 2013. They bonded over their passion and appreciation for Arizona and then this amazing company was born! 

State Forty Eight is a company that represents a lifestyle and sense of community. Through their apparel, they are redefining the status-quo and inspiring others to rise up and stand for something they believe in. 

More than just an apparel line, State Forty Eight represents a lifestyle, a sense of community, and is an expression of pride. From sports fans and outdoor explorers to the more fashion-forward, the homegrown brand offers gear for all that is both stylish and comfortable. 

As an Arizona native, Mike wanted to create something that made Arizonans feel pride in their state.  He wanted a new, modern design that represented the state and something that they could feel excited about.  With their new State Forty-Eight logo, they wanted it to serve as a reminder to proclaim your passions but never forget where you came from.

It isn’t all about the apparel.  Last year State forty Eight launched SFE Community Impact, an initiative that is dedicated to giving back to the community with the help of their customers!  Their mission is to inspire actionable giving that will contribute to the wellbeing and prosperity of Arizona and create a platform for local organizations to be seen, heard, and supported.

Mike and his team work hard to create gear that is unique to Arizona and its culture.  They spend their time creating the perfect representation for this state and what makes it unique.  From the landscape to Arizona sports, you are bound to find the uniquely Arizona items in their products.
