When you combine a stunning Arizona backdrop, a timeless all-white design, and a couple who knows how to throw a party you get Carly & Simon’s unforgettable wedding at Mountain Shadows Resort. From a heartfelt ceremony at the base of Camelback Mountain to an energetic ballroom celebration complete with disco balls and an LED dance floor, every detail was designed to reflect their love story.

The ceremony was filled with intentional touches that made it deeply personal. Guests experienced the breathtaking desert views while surrounded by classic white florals by Lux Florist. In a moment that had everyone teary-eyed, Carly & Simon passed their wedding rings around the crowd, inviting each guest to hold and bless them before they said “I do.” It was the perfect way to begin their marriage surrounded by love.

For dinner, sleek linens from BBJ La Tavola and lush floral details set the scene for an elevated celebration. But once it was time to party, the ballroom was completely transformed. With mirrored trussing and a glowing LED dance floor by Divinity Event Productions, plus shimmering disco balls overhead, the space felt like a high-energy nightclub right in the heart of Paradise Valley. DJ Breezy kept the dance floor packed all night, delivering the exact vibe Carly & Simon dreamed of.

One of our favorite details? The way the couple incorporated their shared love of road trips and quirky gas station finds. Guests’ place cards were custom keychains, a nod to the souvenirs Carly & Simon love to collect. And their grand ballroom entrance was anything but traditional: instead of a simple walk in, they hyped up the crowd with a custom T-shirt toss, handing out wedding-day tees that made for the ultimate keepsake.

From beginning to end, Carly & Simon’s wedding was a perfect reflection of who they are, timeless, joyful, and full of fun. The Arizona landscape and the modern Mountain Shadows Resort gave them the backdrop of their dreams, and the night ended with the kind of dance floor energy that guests will never forget.
