A Wedding Full of Texture, Color, and Personal Touches

There are weddings, and then there are weddings that feel like pure magic, this one was absolutely the latter. What made it extra special is that our bride wasn’t just any bride, she’s a former planner on our team and one of our OGs. That made celebrating her love story not only emotional for us, but also an unforgettable creative experience.

From the very beginning, her vision was rooted in texture and color, and it showed in every detail. Since she’s also a stationery and signage designer, she poured her heart into crafting intricate details that wove seamlessly throughout the day. Guests were welcomed with a custom crossword puzzle and seating chart, where the fabric she had chosen for her table linens was cleverly used on the display wall itself, talk about thoughtful design! Each place setting was elevated with custom menus, further layering in her signature creative touch.

One of the most memorable elements was the playful nod to her groom’s profession. As a police officer, he and the bride leaned into the cheeky stereotype with a “donut moment” a sweet and lighthearted detail that had everyone smiling (and snacking).

When it came time for the reception, the space was a feast for the senses. The design was filled with romantic textures, rich colors, and intentional details that made the room feel both elevated and deeply personal. And of course, in true YJ fashion, the dance floor was the place to be. With so many of our team members in attendance as guests, the energy was absolutely electric! We laughed, we danced, and we celebrated until the very last song.

This wedding wasn’t just a showcase of impeccable design; it was a true reflection of the couple, creative, intentional, a little cheeky, and a whole lot of fun!
