A Fairytale Bridal Shower

Today, we are coming at you with more glitter, unicorns, and flower crowns than your favorite fairytale, in the form of a beautiful bridal shower for a very special YJ bride.  The bride just happens to be the twin sister of one of our head jubilettes, so you know we had to pull out all the stops and make this a shower none of the guests will never forget.  The exciting part is this is just a prelude to the big event!

The bride arrived last to the party, so we had to make sure there was reserved parking right up front, by way of chalk art.
As she walked up to the door, she was welcomed by a custom chalkboard sign and a “best day ever” floor mat.  We all waited inside, eager to get this fairytale bridal shower started.
Each guest was given a simple flower crown (our tutorial is coming soon) and the bride wore a beautiful flower crown made by Prim Florals.
When we were planning this party, we took into account the bride’s love for anything Kate Spade, unicorns, flower crowns and things that sparkle.  Combine all that and you get this whimsical, girly sparkle-tastic bridal shower. The groom even sent his love by way of “I love her because” signs written by the groom and designed by Your Jubilee.
A mimosa bar provided bubbly refreshment for guests.  Fresh fruit served as a drink garnish with three flavors of juice. To match the champagne bar, the bride wore a custom shirt, made by yours truly, that read, “Pop the bubbly, I’m getting a hubby”.
The dessert bar, with treats from Gigi’s Cupcakes included a polka-dot and stripe cake, two flavors of elegant cupcakes, with unicorn toppers and custom cactus cookies.
In addition to a guess the cork game, where guests were asked to guess the number of corks in a jar, party goers enjoyed bridal gift bingo, and bridal advice mad-libs.  Our favorite game was “Guess Who?,” where guests held up the face of the person each statement described most accurately.
As a keepsake for the bride,  guest were asked to take polaroids in front of a balloon and fringe backdrop, then leave a love note next to their picture.
In addition to the flower crowns, each guest took home a mini bottle of champagne and memories of a very special bridal shower.
We can’t wait for the rest of the wedding festivities for the future Mrs. Garcia! It was our incredible honor to design this special day with her friends and family.

Special thanks to all of our creative partners that helped make our design vision possible!
